This is a chance for the youngest learners to experience the magic of mornings on Camelot’s farm! This program is an extension of the Nature Start pre-K/Kindergarten classes that run during the school year. We will spend our days splashing in the creek, hunting for bugs and other wildlife, and helping out farmers with animal care.
Students will be dropped off at Camelot, where we will have a brief morning meeting, get packed up, and then load into our van to head to the farm. Our day will be a mix of open-ended play and more structured activities like animal games, nature observations, and natural crafting opportunities. We will stay mindful of the heat, keeping to the shade of the woods when possible and taking regular romps through the creek.
If you choose the full day option, the second half of the day will be back at Camelot Academy where we will balance time outside in our nature play spaces vs inside where it is cooler.
This program is running for 3 weeks, you have the option to register for 1, 2 or all 3! There are both half day and full day options available
* We will end each week with a special snack grown or foraged on our farm.
*The creek is shallow (less than 2 feet deep) - swimming ability is not required.
