Description

In the morning: Apiary Adventures

This is a great program for both curious learners and students who already have knowledge of honey bees. From hive construction to honey extraction, students will learn the basics of beekeeping, hive behavior, and the many possibilities for using wax and honey. During the program, students even have the opportunity to suit up and explore a hive firsthand.

In the afternoon: Ceramics

In this program, students will learn the fundamentals of ceramics through exciting projects in handbuilding. Students will create both functional and decorative projects, including teapots, bird-houses, whistles, candleholders, bowls, plates and small sculptures. Week 1 will be dedicated to the construction of projects, and Week 2 will feature glazing (painting) with food-safe, colorful pigments!
