Description

Buzz into a week of fun, learning, and adventure!

For part of each day we’ll dive into the fascinating world of bees. Campers will explore hive structures by building frames and boxes (a hands-on way to sharpen math skills!), learn about the history and uses of honey and its byproducts through stories and literature, and even have the option to suit up for an exciting in-hive experience. We’ll wrap up the week by preparing for and learning about the honey extraction process.

We will also have the opportunity to go on exciting adventures around the Triangle, featuring a variety of fun field trips and engaging activities. This camp is the perfect mix of hands-on learning and unforgettable summer experiences!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, the 14th—our grand finale event! We’re thrilled to invite you to join us for the honey extraction process. This exciting experience offers students and their families the chance to see firsthand how honey is carefully harvested from the hives and transformed into the golden treat sold at our farm stand. Don’t miss this sweet celebration!

Program Location: Camelot Academy and Camelot Farm. Transportation between the academy and farm will be provided using school vans and buses. Additional details about field trip destinations will be shared as the start of your Summer Program approaches.
